St.Bernardus Abt 12 Magnum Edition 2021
Panamarenko’s photograph 'Around The World in 80 Years', which would unintentionally become his last, was the photographer’s take on Jules Verne’s adventure novel 'Around The World in 80 Days'.
The man behind this photograph is the narrative photographer Bart Ramakers, who in turn derived his inspiration for the scene from the work of the Italian Baroque painter Caravaggio.
n 2012, we started a yearly tradition by presenting our St.Bernardus Abt 12 in a unique way. We created a new Magnum bottle and every year, an artist created an artwork especially for this occasion. This Magnum Edition 2018 celebrates our 71th anniversary and launch of our new brewery
St.Bernardus Abt 12 is considered as one of the world's greatest beers. It is still brewed following the original recipe from 1946. It's a dark abbey ale, 10% ABV, perfectly balanced with a full body and a hoppy bite.
The dark brown Magnum bottle is designed especially for this occasion. The brewery logo is embossed in the bottle, which gives it a stylish finish. In addition, the special 'Bière Belge neck', the personalized champagne cork and the full color wirehood make this Magnum a true collector's item.
This years’ design celebrates our 70th anniversary and offers a view on the current brewery. De screen printing of the design on the bottle makes this Magnum bottle very unique.
