Fig, pear and brie

Ingredients for 4:

  • 1 ripe pear, such as Forelle of Conference
  • 4 dried figs
  • 150 grams brie cheese
  • 8 tablespoons bock beer (Wildebok, Leute Bokbier)
  • few small sprigs of rosemary
  • 4 slices raisin bread, lightly toasted

Preparation:

Cut the dried figs in half and soak them in bock beer at least for two hours.

Remove heart from the pear and slice to 8.

Cut slices of bread them diagonally. Put on the bread a piece of soaked fig, then add a brie and slice of pear. Garnish with a rosemary

Recommended beer: bock, dubbel, barley wine
